Conditions of use for the IndoorData platform
1. Acceptance and Use of the Platform
By accessing and using the IndoorData platform, the user fully accepts these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. The IndoorData platform is made available by S2D, Sport data Decision, Lda for professional use in the context of sports management for futsal and basketball clubs. The user agrees to use the platform in accordance with applicable law and exclusively for the purposes set out in the service agreement. It is strictly prohibited to use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent purposes or in any way that may cause harm to third parties.
2. Account, Access and Security
Access to the platform requires the creation of an account with personal, non-transferable credentials. The user is solely responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials. • All actions performed using their account. • Immediately notifying S2D of any unauthorised use of their account via the support email. S2D reserves the right to suspend or close accounts in the event of a breach of these terms or suspected fraudulent use. Access to the platform is controlled by a role system (ADMIN, MANAGER, COACH), and each user is responsible for the appropriate use of the permissions assigned to them.
3. Data, Privacy and Data Protection
The user retains ownership of the data they enter into the platform (athlete data, training sessions, games, etc.). S2D processes this data as a data processor, under the terms of the service agreement and in compliance with the GDPR. S2D does not sell or transfer user data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. For full information on how personal data is collected, processed, retained and protected, and on data subjects' rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy. The user is responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate legal basis (in particular, consent from athletes and/or legal guardians for minors) to enter third-party personal data into the platform.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the IndoorData platform — including software, design, logos, features, exercises and predefined models — is the exclusive property of S2D, Sport data Decision, Lda, protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of any element of the platform without prior written consent from S2D is strictly prohibited. Content created by users on the platform (custom exercises, tactical models, training data) belongs to the user. S2D holds only a limited licence to store and process it within the scope of service delivery.
5. Limitations of Liability
S2D will use its best efforts to ensure the availability and reliability of the platform, but cannot guarantee an uninterrupted or error-free service. S2D is not liable for: • Indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform. • Data loss resulting from misuse or breach of these terms by the user. • Service interruptions caused by factors beyond its control (force majeure, third-party infrastructure failures, etc.). S2D's maximum liability, under any circumstances, is limited to the amount paid by the user for the service during the period in which the damage occurred.
6. Changes, Governing Law and Contact
S2D reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect implies acceptance of the new terms. These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
